Building a Community π€
Autumn 2022
Tristan and Armani hired Mad Monkey to build a community for Mad Lads and Backpack. Mad Monkey, also known as Gonzalo, is a key contributor to the Solana ecosystemm. He previously worked at FTX and transitioned from corporate roles to becoming a prominent figure in the crypto community, focusing on user engagement and community building.
Idea of Mad Lads came to life π§
Summer 2022
During the summer of 2022, the idea of creating a profile picture NFT collection became a reality. Despite having a first collection entirely done by a talented artist, the team decided it wasn't exactly what they wanted. Tristan, being close to Aurory, contacted their artist, and after some sketches, the magic happened, leading to Yann Penno becoming the Mad Lads artist!
